The same sports data everyone sells. A different reason to buy it from us.
Orbistats started from one observation: the sports data API market doesn't have a coverage problem, it has a pricing problem. So we built the same feed everyone else sells — football, basketball, cricket, tennis and more — and made a deliberate choice to run it on a smaller margin instead of a smaller feed.
Why we built another sports data API
Every team that's shopped for sports data has had the same experience: the feed is fine, the coverage is fine, and then the pricing call happens and the number doesn't match the size of what you're building. Enterprise data vendors price for enterprise buyers, which makes sense for them and makes no sense for a two-person team trying to ship a live score widget or a fantasy prototype.
Orbistats exists to close that gap without cutting corners on the data itself. We normalize the same fixtures, results, statistics, odds and live events that larger providers sell, hold ourselves to the same latency and uptime bar, and price it so a solo developer and a trading desk can both reasonably start on the same platform — one on the free tier, one on a dedicated enterprise plan, both getting the same underlying feed.
Four things that don't change as we grow
What we believe
Good data infrastructure shouldn't require a sales call to try. Every developer should be able to see a real response before they ever talk to us.
How we price
Free to start, transparent tiers, and the lowest bulk rate we can offer once you scale — not because the feed gets lighter, but because we're comfortable earning less.
What we cover
Ten mainstream sports at sub-50ms — football, basketball, American football, cricket, tennis, horse racing, baseball, esports, golf and combat sports.
Who we build for
Sportsbooks and trading desks, media publishers, fantasy and analytics platforms, and teams and federations.
No calls. No quotes. No catch.
Most providers in this industry make you fight through a maze before you ever see a price. Custom quotes, sales calls, NDA walls — orbiting around what should be a simple decision. We just built the thing without the maze.
These are the exact obstacles we heard about most from other developers — not aimed at any specific company. We just decided not to build our business around them.
From one feed to a full platform
One feed, priced differently
Orbistats launched with a single football data feed and one idea worth testing: charge less, keep the data the same.
Ten sports, one schema
Coverage grew to ten mainstream sports, all normalized into the same consistent schema so switching sports never means rewriting integrations.
Live scores, WebSocket & webhooks
Sub-second delivery went live across REST, WebSocket streaming and webhooks, built for sportsbooks and trading desks as much as media and fantasy products.
Odds, history and a 99.99% SLA
Odds data, multi-season historical archives and an enterprise-grade uptime SLA now sit on the same platform as the original free tier.
The same platform, shaped to what you're building
Pricing decisions
Real-time odds and results fast enough to sit behind risk and pricing engines.
Reader engagement
Live scores and embeddable widgets that keep readers on your page.
Scoring & modeling
Player-level data and history for scoring engines and predictive models.
Scouting & broadcast
Match and performance data to support clubs, leagues and governing bodies.
Built to be depended on, not just tried
A cheaper feed is worthless if it isn't there when you need it. Live data is sourced redundantly so a single upstream outage doesn't become your outage, delivery infrastructure runs across multiple regions, and paid plans carry a 99.99% uptime SLA with dedicated capacity available for enterprise and trading workloads. Our pricing is meant to remove friction, not cut corners on the parts that actually matter.
We're building this with a small, deliberate team
If the idea of infrastructure that's priced to actually be used — not just demoed — sounds like the kind of product you'd want to build, we're hiring across engineering and data. See open roles on the Careers page, or reach out directly if there isn't an open role that fits yet.
Same data. Same speed. A price built to earn less.
Start on Free, move up when you actually need to.
